Job Summary:
We are seeking Child and Youth Care Professionals to work in a residential setting, providing quality care and support to children and young people who require a safe and nurturing environment.
The role involves working as part of a team to provide around-the-clock care, ensuring the well-being and safety of children and young people at all times.
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a positive and supportive environment, promoting the development and reintegration of children and young people into their communities.
* Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, taking into account their unique needs and requirements.
* Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure a safe and healthy environment for children and young people.
* Develop and implement programs that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of children and young people.
* Monitor and report any incidents or concerns related to the health and safety of children and young people.
Key Responsibilities:
* To provide a high level of care and support to children and young people, including administering medication, preparing meals, and engaging in recreational activities.
* To work effectively with other team members to achieve goals and objectives, including participating in team meetings and contributing to decision-making processes.
* To maintain accurate records and reports, including incident reports, progress notes, and statistical data.
* To participate in ongoing training and professional development, staying up-to-date with best practices and industry standards.
