Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of Corporate Services Support Officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive support to staff across the organisation, ensuring the effective and efficient execution of procurement and operational activities.

This position plays a key part in coordinating day-to-day procurement processes, maintaining supplier relationships, and supporting the management of operational systems and resources. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding compliance with policies and contributing to the overall strategic objectives of the organisation.

The ideal candidate will have experience in assisting with developing and maintaining operational frameworks, systems, policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems. A strong understanding of frontline operations within a financial institution is also essential. Additionally, the ability to actively identify issues, risks, and incidents across branch services and other service centres, and initiate actions to resolve issues and implement solutions is crucial. The candidate should also possess exceptional time management and organisational skills, as well as a Certificate in business or similar qualification.

The selected candidate will work closely with the Corporate Services Manager to ensure seamless coordination of procurement processes and operational activities. They will also be responsible for providing data, analytics, and reporting to enable meaningful decision making. It is essential that the candidate can self-manage and work effectively as part of a wider team.

This is a full-time 12-month contract position based on a 38-hour work week, located at our Townsville Head Office or Brisbane/Cairns Admin Office.

Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain operational frameworks, systems, policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
* Coordinate day-to-day procurement processes and maintain supplier relationships.
* Support the management of operational systems and resources.
* Uphold compliance with policies and contribute to the overall strategic objectives of the organisation.
* Provide data, analytics, and reporting to enable meaningful decision making.


Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in assisting with developing and maintaining operational frameworks, systems, policies, procedures, controls, and reporting systems.
* Strong understanding of frontline operations within a financial institution.
* Ability to actively identify issues, risks, and incidents across branch services and other service centres, and initiate actions to resolve issues and implement solutions.
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills.
* Certificate in business or similar qualification.
