About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Freezer Manager to join our team at our Wacol Distribution Centre. This role is responsible for ensuring the efficient management and allocation of warehouse staff, resources and equipment to achieve the best possible customer outcome in terms of storage, picking and packing of goods.

Your key responsibilities will include:
">

* Manage the raw material operations in and out of the chiller/freezers to ensure all staff members comply with safety procedures and company rules;
">
* Monitor stock levels within the chiller and freezer to ensure maximum efficiency;
">
* Identify data issues within the Warehouse Management System (WMS) that affect the pick operation and report them to the Operations Manager;
">
* Maintain the warehouse environment in a clean and tidy condition and report any damages or breakdowns in a timely manner;
">
* Control orders to ensure priority is maintained liaising closely with dispatch and production as needed;
">
* Conduct regular area inspections and internal/external audits;
">
* Be responsible for floor staff resources, discipline, absence management and overtime requirements;
">
* Complete end-of-shift reports and forward them to the appropriate team within agreed timeframes;
">

About You:
">
To be successful in this role, you will need:
">
">
* Previous experience in a similar role in a multi-site, FMCG environment;
">
* Experience supervising a complex warehouse or team with expertise in cold environments;
">
* An understanding of the transport industry and relevant legislation and safety concerns;
">
* Relevant Import and Export Accreditation is an advantage;
">
* Strong abilities in managing transport & distribution processes;
">
* Proficient use of DC systems, and MS Office Suite;
">
