Currently, the organization is recruiting for a National Sales Manager role. This position will oversee the entire sales team across Australia, New Zealand, and surrounding regions, driving strategic growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities
Your key duties include but are not limited to:
* Conduct national market and technology research to identify trends and opportunities.
* Develop and execute strategic plans to drive sales growth.
* Oversee distribution channels, including performance analysis and ongoing development.
* Lead the planning, development, and management of new products.
* Manage the Sales Department, advertising teams, and external agents.
* Monitor and control departmental expenditures within approved budgets.
* Recruit, train, manage, and motivate sales staff in line with company policies and employment regulations. Final hiring decisions are subject to Director approval.
* Maintain and enhance product knowledge, technical expertise, and sales capabilities.
* Strategically plan and manage sales growth across Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, and Papua New Guinea, including oversight of Area and Sales Managers.
* Implement regional sales and marketing strategies across designated territories.
* Launch new products and establish market presence.
* Track and report on market trends and competitor activities; compile and review monthly reports from the national sales team.
* Manage responses to sales inquiries and ensure timely follow-up.
* Organize and deliver product training sessions for distributors and end users.
* Plan and execute marketing initiatives including trade shows, product demonstrations, and promotional campaigns.
* Drive sales development with both existing and new distributors.
* Maintain and update databases for customers, end users, and competitors.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, including health and safety standards.
* Collaborate with customers to negotiate favorable trading terms.
* Design and deliver a national training program for schools and TAFE institutions.
* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Director.
Your Profile
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
* Prior experience in a related industry—such as wholesale pneumatic tools, couplings, or compressors—serving sectors like mining and construction is highly preferred.
* Demonstrated experience in managing staff within a sales department is essential.
* Strong leadership capabilities with a proven track record of driving sales growth.
* Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
