Job Description:
The successful applicant will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing antenatal clinics and services, on maternity wards and in birth suites. They will also be responsible for caring for infants in the special care nursery, ensuring their safety and well-being. Key responsibilities include assessing patients' needs, documenting assessment findings, promoting a culture of confidence and respect, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA). A demonstrated commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction is essential, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship-building skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
