About Our School
Our Lady of Mercy Catholic College Burraneer is the only 7-12 Girls Secondary College in the Sutherland Shire. Our modern campus overlooks Burraneer Bay and the Royal National Park, providing a tranquil backdrop for learning in a vibrant educational and faith community.
We are looking for a full-time, temporary Mathematics teacher for this parental leave position in 2026. Stage 6 experience is preferred and the abilty to teach another subject would be an advantage. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

About You
As a Mathematics Teacher, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.
To excel in this role, you will be able to:
* create and implement engaging, rigorous planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
* demonstrate the ability and qualifications to teach Mathematics. The ability to teach another subject is advantageous
* utilise formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
* employ a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
* support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
* demonstrate excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
* integrate technology to enhance contemporary learning experiences.
You will have attained:
* a tertiary qualification in Education
* eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).
