Overview

Base Salary SCHADS Level 7 $119,498.32 p/a + Super

About the Opportunity

As Program Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Aged Care Services team, ensuring high-quality service delivery that meets contractual, legislative, and compliance requirements. You will provide direct supervision and support to staff, manage recruitment and onboarding, and lead performance development processes. Your role will also involve managing budgets, contributing to service reform, and driving continuous improvement initiatives that respond to the evolving aged care landscape.

You will work closely with internal teams, community leaders, and external stakeholders to build strong partnerships and promote Anglicare NT’s aged care programs. Your ability to respond to complex client needs, critical incidents, and service challenges with professionalism and empathy will be key to your success.

What we are looking for

- Tertiary qualification in Community Services, Health Sciences, or a related field.
- Minimum three years’ experience in a management role within the community services sector.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing culturally diverse teams.
- Sound knowledge of aged care reforms, compliance requirements, and service innovation.
- Excellent communication, time management, and resilience under pressure.
- Proficient in client record systems, reporting, and budget management.
- Prior experience or, at a minimum, demonstrated commitment to working respectfully with Indigenous and culturally and linguistically diverse clients, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations.

Requirements : Prior to commencing in this role, you must provide 100 points of identification to confirm Australian citizenship or eligibility to work in Australia; possess a Working with Children (Ochre Card), a current National Criminal History Check (within 3 months) and a valid NT driver’s licence.

Experience of working closely with and having a strong understanding of Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander culture would be considered an advantage.
