Job Description To be eligible you must have: Previous Line 1 risk experience CPS230 awareness requirements The Line 1 Risk team within TAL Individual Life is responsible for key risk management activities. In this role, you will advise and guide the business to ensure operations align with the TAL Risk Management Framework and risk appetite. Daily tasks include monitoring risk, compliance, controls, project support, assurance reviews, risk assessments, and incident management. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Individual Life Line 1 Risk, you will identify, treat, and mitigate risks, influence decision-making, and identify key themes and root causes of incidents. Additionally, you will support change activities for FAR and CPS230 requirements. In this role you will: Deliver high quality and commercially conscious risk and compliance advice across the organisation to enable the business to be commercially successful whilst remaining fully compliant with legal and regulatory requirements. Provide Line 1 risk support with incident management and regulatory reporting. Closely partner with stakeholders to ensure control documentation is maintained, completion of controls assurance with findings related to internal controls are assessed and reported as required. Make sure appropriate Risk Management and/or Compliance reporting is generated and escalated as appropriate. Participate and represent Line 1 risk in projects and initiatives and provide risk guidance. Monitor developments in relevant professional fields. Manage relationships with business stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop appropriate solutions, to deliver a better service to the business.
