We are currently hiring experienced Directional Drillers to join our team in Victoria. We require people who are seeking consistent work, reliable, hardworking, driven, good communication skills and work well as part of a team. The positions are within our Civil Construction Teams.
About the Business
GND Civil group based in Carrum Downs with a National footprint. Our projects are located in the greater Melbourne area, Country Victoria and opportunities for ongoing interstate work also.
At GND Civil group the scope of products and services delivered include Horizontal Directional Drilling, Communications infrastructure construction and Civil Works.
The ideal candidate will be someone with extensive experience, available Monday to Friday and willing to work away.
About the roles
We are seeking a number of enthusiastic Directional drillers to join our team. Work is in Melbourne Metro, Regional and interstate.
Directional Driller
* Service location and bore path planning.
* Horizontal Directional Drilling around services.
* Installation of bore pipe.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects.
* Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies and procedures.
* Troubleshoot and rectify any issues that arise during installations or repairs.
* Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used.
* Flexible work hours
* Operating various items of plant.
* Maintain a safe & clean work environment.
Suitable candidates will possess or willing to obtain the following.
* Experience as a Directional Driller, Drill Tracker or Service Locator
* Current HC Truck licence
* Current white safety construction induction card
* Positive disposition and can-do attitude.
* Be enthusiastic, reliable & dedicated to providing customer service.
* Have pride in maintaining a high standard of plant, equipment & vehicle maintenance including clean organised vehicles.
* Willingness to work away and interstate
* CPR & First Aid Certificate
* Spotter Certificate
* RIICCM202D- Identify, Locate and Protect Underground Services
* Plant Operator ticket
