This position is based in Shepparton, situated on Yorta Yorta Country - a vibrant and contemporary region recognised for its strong multicultural diversity and proud First Nations community. However, there will be an expectation to have a presence at our other sites on a regular basis. Shepparton offers a highly liveable city centre, welcoming smaller towns, and easy access to parks, rivers, forests, and extensive walking and cycling tracks. With excellent dining, retail, sporting facilities, and cultural events, it delivers an outstanding lifestyle choice.
FamilyCare is one of regional Victoria's largest and most progressive community service organisations, operating across Greater Shepparton, Mitchell, Murrindindi, Strathbogie, and Moira. As one of the leading providers of child and family services in the region, including disability support, NDIS coordination, and carer programs, FamilyCare is deeply committed to improving outcomes for victim survivors and their children. As CEO, you will be passionate about supporting families, their children and individuals to enhance their strengths throughout their lives and will play a pivotal role in advancing FamilyCare's mission. You will work closely with the Board, ensuring effective governance and strategic oversight while leading the organisation towards continued success.

Key Responsibilities include: Leading the implementation and integration of FamilyCare's vision, mission, and strategic objectives. Providing strategic counsel and insights to the Board, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and values. Building and nurturing an effective, high-performing organisation that embodies the core values and prioritises strategic goals. Driving an enhanced focus on healthy community environments and wellbeing, aiming to improve the lives of families, children and young people in the community. Championing diversity, inclusion, and sustainability, promoting these values both internally and externally. Fostering robust collaborations with the community to strengthen and enhance service delivery. Ensuring the delivery of high-quality services across a diverse range of contemporary community programs and initiatives. Strengthen and foster connections that enhance FamilyCare's impact and reach. To succeed in this role, you will bring both the energy and adaptability necessary to thrive in a dynamic environment. With significant senior leadership experience in a comparable community-focused organisation, you will possess a strong foundation in leadership and management, coupled with the ability to think strategically, advocate effectively, and foster positive relationships.
You will demonstrate an unwavering commitment to ensuring the delivery of high-quality services, with a clear passion for making a difference to the lives of families, children and young people, which will be crucial to your success. As a collaborative leader, you will inspire and unite the organisation, guiding it through strategic initiatives and ensuring alignment with its mission and vision.
