About the Role
WorkPac is seeking a motivated and experienced Administration Officer for our client in Cairns City. This is a part-time role offering 1 day per week. The Administration Officer will be responsible for providing high-quality administrative services in line with organizational policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide administrative support to the Senior Nursing Officer, medical and nursing staff, and Business Manager Clinical Services and Operations.
* Manage client management systems and ensure accurate Medicare documentation.
* Provide high-quality administration services in accordance with policies and procedures.
* Maintain timely and cost-effective administrative support across the organization.
* Build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
* Contribute to a positive and productive team culture.
* Assist in providing client services and administrative support to the clinical staff.
Skills and Experience required
* Minimum of 12 months in a medical administration role
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database maintenance
* Certificate or experience in medical practice administration
* Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and provide administrative support autonomously
* Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
* Proven client management experience and the ability to maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team or independently
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop productive relationships
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage deadlines
* Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to team culture and work in a collaborative environment
