Lead Customer Service Manager
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced leader to spearhead our customer service team in Mildura.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide guidance, coaching, and development opportunities for a small team of customer-facing representatives.
* Ensure exceptional customer experience by assisting customers with product selection and technical advice, resolving issues promptly, and exceeding expectations.
* Maintain accurate stock control and management of inventory, ensuring seamless product availability and minimizing losses.
* Process point-of-sale transactions efficiently and accurately, including end-of-day reconciliations, to maintain a clean and organized store environment.
* Make local deliveries to trade customers as needed using the company vehicle, promoting timely and professional services.
Requirements:
* A proven track record of leadership, complemented by expertise in coaching, developing, and mentoring teams to achieve peak performance.
* Previous experience working in a 2IC role within a customer-centric organization, preferably in retail or sales, where strong interpersonal skills were essential.
* Excellent people and customer engagement skills, with the ability to foster a positive and inclusive work culture.
* Proficiency in point-of-sale systems and other relevant technologies, with the capacity to quickly learn new software applications.
* Strong understanding of stock handling and merchandising principles, ensuring optimal product presentation and shelf management.
