Frontline Equipment Maintenance currently has opportunities from Brisbane to Cape York for experienced Diesel Fitters and Auto-Electricians.
Candidates must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in diesel fitting or auto-electrical work.
This role offers a 7 days on / 7 days off roster or ADHOC roles, with full accommodation and meals supplied for site work. If local we have workshop roles for equipment repairs

Frontline Equipment Maintenance is seeking experienced Field Service technicians and Town based, mechanical and electrical, to join our team in Queensland. As a Field Service technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy mining equipment including excavators, haul trucks and other mobile plant.
This is a hands-on role with the opportunity to work on a variety of complex equipment within the mining and resources industry.
What you'll be doing
• Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair a range of heavy mining equipment and machinery
• Perform scheduled maintenance and servicing to ensure optimal performance and reliability
• Liaise with clients and managers to ensure timely completion of all work
• Maintain detailed records of all work undertaken
• Adhere to all relevant health, safety and environmental policies and procedures
• Provide on-site technical support and advice to clients as required
What we're looking for
• Trade qualification as a Diesel Fitter, Light Vehicle Mechanic, Auto-Electrician or equivalent
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Current driver's licence and ability to operate heavy machinery
• Willingness to work in remote locations and travel to mine sites as required
• Must reside within Australia
Experience with mining equipment is preferred but not essential, with training provided as needed.
A current car licence (C) is required for this position.
