 
        
        An excellent opportunity exists for a suitable individual to join the AAPA Victoria Flight Operations team as a full-time Rostering Officer. This position will be based at our Flight Operations Centre at Ballarat Airport, Victoria.
**Reporting**: 
This position reports to the Operations Manager.
**Position Responsibilities**:
- Preparation and publication of Flight Instructor and Student Rosters in compliance with the relevant aviation regulations 
- Monitoring and reporting on the operational status of crews for the purposes of roster preparation 
- Oversight of compliance of all crew currency, training, check and licensing requirements so as to ensure that the operational status of crews is maintained 
- Liaison with the Check and Training team for the planning of all training requirements for the published/unpublished roster period 
- Booking of any adhoc flight, transport and accommodation requirements as required. 
- Communication with crew members of required roster changes 
- Construction and publication of Crew Tours of Duty, whilst ensuring maximum crew utilisation and cost-efficiency 
- Management of Flight Instructor Annual Leave rosters 
- Assist when required with payroll and any other administrative tasks 
- Other duties as instructed by the Operations Manager
**Selection criteria** 
- Initiate knowledge of CASA crew duty requirements and limitations 
- Previous experience in airline operations 
- Experience with FlightPro desirable 
- Previous experience interpreting Awards 
- Previous experience working in high pressure environment with limited supervision 
- Excellent communication and organisational/time management skills 
- Willingness to adapt to an evolving work environment
