Ability Action Australia is growing — and we're looking for our next Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) to join our incredible team, supporting NDIS participants in the Gympie region.Whether you're an experienced BSP or come from a strong background in the disability sector, we want to hear from you!
What You'll DoAs a BSP, you'll work with adults and children in community settings, supporting them and those around them to live more empowered lives.
Your role will involve:Conducting person-centred assessments and planning with NDIS participants, families and carersDeveloping and implementing evidence-based, positive behaviour support (PBS) plansPromoting the elimination of restrictive practices through education and practical strategiesWorking collaboratively to build capacity in families, carers, and support networksActing as a role model for best-practice service deliveryBeing part of a multidisciplinary team with a shared mission to make a differenceWhat's In It for You?
