About the job

We are currently seeking a committed and experienced Casual HSE Advisor to join our Outage team to assist with a Major Shutdown based at Collie Power Station, Collie WA. Due to commencing in April 2026 for a duration of approximately 4 – 6 weeks, We are looking to appoint an experienced Casual HSE Advisor willing work on a short term basis and be able to make themselves available for work at short notice, including 10.5 hour shifts, 6 days per week as required. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining the highest safety standards across the site. The HSE Advisor will ensure compliance with health, safety, environment, and quality regulations while developing and implementing strategies to reduce risks and foster a culture of continuous improvement in our HSEQ practices.

This role sits within in our Power Services division which provides operations and maintenance services to over 30 power generation assets across Australia. What you'll do

* Use a consistent approach for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) services.
* Give clear advice and support on HSE matters.
* Check that safety standards are followed.
* Provide compliance reports.
* Identify hazards early.
* Lead investigations after serious incidents.
* Assess exposure risks.
* Help maintain the site HSE Management Plan.
* Ensure accurate reporting.
* Manage injuries effectively.
* Promote health and wellbeing
* Increase safety awareness.
* Maintain the risk register.
* Communicate HSE information clearly.

About You

To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:

* Previous HSE experience within the Power Generation (or similar) sector.
* Relevant qualifications in OH+S or related discipline.
* In-depth knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex situations and recommend practical solutions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
