Overview
We have an opportunity for a passionate and dedicated individual to provide early childhood education services including the design, documentation and implementation of programs for children and families. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will establish learning assessments and identify learning outcomes for children and engage in critical reflection that informs ongoing programs, teaching strategies and relationships with children and families. You will communicate with families about children’s programs, learning outcomes, health, well-being, safety and nutrition.
Position details – Permanent full-time position, 38 hours per week. Total remuneration package commences at $74,360.83 gross per annum, comprising of $1,276.80 per week base salary and $153.22 per week superannuation (calculated at 12%).
About You
We are seeking an individual who holds a Diploma in Children’s Services recognised by the Australian Children's Education and Care Quality Authority and has a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in an early childhood setting. You will have the following skills and experience:
- Knowledge of the National early childhood regulations, standards, approved curriculum and policies.
- Demonstrated skills in building respectful relationships with children, families, staff and external stakeholders.
- High level of written and verbal communication skills.
- Theoretical understanding of how children grow and learn, with demonstrated skills in implementing an approved curriculum.
