Senior HR Advisor - Australia/Remote (Part-time)

We are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to support our EOR service, managing employee onboarding, off‑boarding, employee relations, claims and compliance for clients across Australia.
What You Will Do
- Draft and implement compliance‑driven policies and standard operating procedures for leave, performance, investigations, claims, terminations, unemployment, workers’ compensation and grievance investigations.
- Handle complex employee relations issues, including leave management, terminations and other regulatory‑risk matters.
- Collaborate with product, engineering and compliance teams to design and test workflows for hiring, onboarding, transitions, terminations and statutory benefits.
- Respond to client and employee inquiries, develop help‑center articles and HR policies to ensure accurate, efficient service delivery.
- Train and coach internal HR Advisors on country‑specific requirements, ensuring continuity and compliance.
- Design scalable, efficient processes that enhance the professionalization and delivery of HR services.
- Act as the designated Power of Attorney for the supported legal entity/entities, signing employee documentation and ensuring compliance with local employment regulations.
What You Will Need
- 8+ years of experience in Australian HR advisory or consulting services, or an internal HR role within a fast‑paced organization.
- Deep knowledge of local labor laws, employment regulations and cultural nuances in Australia.
- Expertise in managing employee claims related to unemployment benefits, disability/leave benefits, workers’ compensation and grievances.
- Solid experience managing terminations of varying complexities in Australia.
- Full payroll administration experience.
- Proficiency as a super‑user of HRIS platforms.
- Excellent project management, organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with a client‑focused approach.
- Experience with benefits and pension administration a plus.
- Experience providing HR support or managing HR processes across multiple countries highly desirable.
Other Details
Part‑time (36 hrs/week) based in Sydney or any other region within Australia (Remote). Flexible hours required to accommodate client meetings outside standard AU office hours.
Employment type: Part‑time. Salary: Competitive with perks. Salary range: AUD 70,000–80,000 gross per annum (estimated).
