Job Overview
As a Senior Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for providing dedicated business-facing second-line compliance support to our organisation's units. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Overseeing, coordinating, and implementing key compliance programs, including regulatory obligations management and anti-money laundering/countering the financing of terrorism (AML/CTF) activities.
You will contribute to periodic AML/CTF program reviews, risk assessments, and internal or external audits. Additionally, you will provide subject matter expertise on customer due diligence, enhanced customer reviews, and sanctions screening processes.
It is essential to identify and analyse the impact of new/proposed/amended laws, regulations, and industry codes for our organisation and recommend action plans to ensure compliance and oversee business unit implementation efforts. You will also contribute to compliance reporting to our Board, Board Committees, and senior management.
To succeed in this role, you must have at least five years' experience in a risk, compliance, or audit role, ideally within a technology-driven organisation or a finance/payments environment. It is essential to have at least three years' experience within a compliance function, with a specialisation in AML/CTF compliance.
You will need strong knowledge and practical understanding of the AML/CTF Act, associated Rules, reforms, and relevant regulatory expectations. Excellent reporting and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail and a data-driven approach to decision-making, are also necessary.
A collaborative team player who can also work independently, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in a changing environment, is required for this role.
