Business Development Representative (BDR) – 12-Month Contract
Location: Sydney, Australia (Hybrid: 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our expanding team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving revenue growth by building and nurturing a strong pipeline of qualified new business opportunities.

This position is ideal for a proactive professional who excels in a fast-paced SaaS environment and is eager to contribute to the development of a high-performing sales organization.

Candidates must be based in Sydney or open to relocation. A deep understanding of the Australian market and native-level Australian English communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

* Build and manage a new business pipeline for the Client Product Suite by identifying and engaging net-new prospects.
* Execute outbound prospecting via phone calls, emails, and social platforms to generate qualified leads for the Field Sales team.
* Engage with prospective customers to understand their business needs and recommend suitable solutions.
* Respond to and qualify inbound leads promptly using Salesforce (SFDC).
* Consistently achieve or exceed targets for activity levels, qualified meetings, pipeline creation, and revenue contribution.
* Use creativity and strategic thinking to continuously improve lead generation and prospecting approaches.
* Work closely with Sales and Marketing teams to optimize demand generation efforts.

Skills and Experience

* Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to adapt quickly in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence engaging prospects via phone and email.
* A strong “phone-first” approach and comfort with daily cold calling.
* At least 12 months of experience in lead generation or inside sales, ideally within a high-growth SaaS company.
* Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales and performance targets.
* Solid understanding of social platforms such as LinkedIn, Twitter, and related prospecting tools.
* Experience using Salesforce or comparable CRM systems (preferred).
* Strong knowledge of the ANZ market (required).
