About the Role
We are looking for an experienced, client-focused Project Consultant to join our team in Australia on a fully remote basis. In this role, you will lead software implementation projects for clients across Australia, working closely with internal teams and customers through virtual collaboration.
As a key point of contact, you will ensure smooth onboarding, deliver high-quality training, and guide businesses in successfully implementing MCS Rental Software into their operations. Occasional client travel may be required, but the role is primarily remote. The role also includes supporting the sales process by delivering product demonstrations to prospective clients.
This position is ideal for someone who is structured, proactive, and confident managing both technology and client relationships in a remote consultancy environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end software implementation projects from scoping through to go-live
* Work remotely with clients across Australia, delivering projects via video, phone, and online tools
* Define project plans, timelines, milestones, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal teams
* Deliver remote training sessions on MCS software (RM and RM Web)
* Lead virtual onboarding sessions to ensure confident system adoption
* Oversee data migration and system setup, ensuring accuracy and structure
* Act as a subject matter expert and trusted advisor on best practices
* Configure and tailor software solutions to meet client business requirements
* Provide regular project updates and maintain accurate project documentation
* Deliver live remote product demonstrations to prospective clients as part of the pre-sales and sales support process
* Support the sales team by showcasing system capabilities and answering functional and technical questions during demos
* Support smooth post-implementation handovers to internal support teams
* Train super users and client teams across departments
* Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with technical teams where escalation is required

Essential Skills & Experience
* Experience in software implementation, project delivery, or client-facing technical roles
* Strong ability to explain complex systems clearly in a remote setting
* Excellent project management and organisational skills
* Confidence delivering software demonstrations and client-facing presentations
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently
* Strong attention to detail, particularly with data and timelines
* Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Familiarity with, or willingness to learn, Microsoft SQL
* Reliable home office setup and strong internet connectivity

Desirable (Nice to Have)
* Experience with rental software, ERP, or business management systems
* Knowledge of system integrations or software customisation workflows
* Previous experience working in a remote consultancy or professional services role
* Experience delivering virtual training or onboarding sessions
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 – $150,000.00 per year
