About the role
We're looking for an experienced radiographer to become part of our supportive, close-knit team. In this role, you'll enjoy a high degree of independence, working alongside one other staff radiographer and supported by a dependable group of local casuals who share on-call duties and provide leave cover.
Your work will include a mix of outpatient imaging and emergency presentations from our adjoining Emergency Department. Approximately 30% of the workload involves CT, making strong CT skills essential.

Please note: Due to the on-call requirements, this role is not suitable for new graduates.
Where you'll be working
Inverell Hospital serves a diverse and vibrant rural community in northern NSW. Our brand-new imaging department features state-of-the-art technology and a small, skilled team including two radiographers and a dedicated administration officer.
Here, you'll be part of a seven-day service roster that offers true clinical variety and independence. Many shifts are worked solo, making this an excellent opportunity for radiographers who enjoy working autonomously in a supportive rural setting.

Requirements:
* Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
* Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold current NSW EPA Radiation licence.
