System Officer: A Key Role in Enterprise Finance
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled System Officer to play a critical role in maintaining and enhancing our enterprise finance systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for system administration, testing, documentation, and support.
* Key Responsibilities
o System Administration: Assist with day-to-day system operations, including environment updates, calendar maintenance, and scheduled system checks. Perform post-clone and post-patch activities, including configuration updates and template creation. Support disaster recovery testing and environment password maintenance.
o Testing & Quality Assurance: Develop and execute system, regression, and M365 upgrade test cases. Raise and track defects, collaborating with senior analysts and developers to resolve issues. Support User Acceptance Testing by assisting business users with test plans, execution, and issue resolution.
o Ticket & Issue Management: Triage and manage ServiceNow tickets, ensuring timely reassignment, clarification, and closure. Administer Jira tickets for configuration, development work, QA validation, and final closure. Maintain accurate documentation across platforms, ensuring tickets reflect completed actions.
o Knowledge & Documentation: Create, update, and maintain Knowledge Base Articles and system documentation. Ensure all processes, test results, and system environment updates are recorded in the appropriate repositories.
o Team & Operational Support: Attend team meetings and support daily operational rituals such as Scrum. Provide coverage for team members when required. Assist with troubleshooting across Oracle Financials, iExpenses, and iProcurement.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent system administration, testing, and documentation skills. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are also essential. Experience with ServiceNow and Jira is highly desirable.
