 
        
        About the role 
Accountability are partnering with a dynamic and forward thinking organisation who are seeking a detail oriented and proactive Payroll Advisor to join their team on a part-time basis (3 days a week). 
This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in payroll who values flexibility and enjoys working in a collaborative environment. 
- Working alongside a managed service provider to process approximately 75 employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in line with service standards and SLAs. 
- Ensure compliance with legislative requirements by interpreting Enterprise Agreements, Modern Awards, and broader Australian industrial relations frameworks. 
- Maintain and update organisational documentation including policies, procedures, templates, and guides. 
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors to monitor service quality and resolve payroll related issues. 
- Perform calculations for Superannuation, PAYG, Workers' Compensation, and payroll taxes. 
- Maintain data integrity across systems and ensure consistent reporting. 
- Assist with payroll-related projects, audits, and change management initiatives. 
- Provide administrative support to People Partners, including drafting HR documents and ensuring compliance. 
- Promote a customer-centric approach to resolving employee queries. 
About you 
- Solid understanding of Australian payroll processes and employment law. 
- Experience with Enterprise Agreements or the Manufacturing Award is highly desirable. 
- Intermediate / Advanced proficiency in Excel is essential. 
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills. 
- Highly organised and able to manage competing deadlines. 
- Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach. 
- Commitment to accuracy, confidentiality, and policy compliance.
