Job Title: Key Operations Manager
About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and driven Delivery Station Manager to oversee the day-to-day management of our busy delivery stations.
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of employee and performance management experience, with a bachelor's degree or equivalent. They must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
Main Responsibilities
* Coordinate and lead a team of Shift Managers and Shift Assistants in achieving operational goals and metrics.
* Manage a safe work environment for all associates and delivery service providers by supporting safety programs.
* Proactively identify and lead process improvement initiatives and Lean tools to increase productivity and efficiency.
The successful candidate will be part of the Amazon Logistics Team, responsible for the day-to-day management of the delivery station, overseeing the operation that focuses on the delivery of Amazon orders direct to customers.
Key activities include reviewing operational forecasts, managing a team to meet building goals, supporting safety programs, and identifying process improvement initiatives.
In addition, they will be responsible for ensuring a safe work place, properly trained people, and addressing their needs so they can focus on their jobs.
This role requires strong leadership skills, adaptability, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
