Digital Media Manager – Baseball Queensland
Baseball Queensland is the peak body for the administration of the sport of baseball in Queensland. We are an independent not-for-profit organisation, representing Queensland baseball organisations and their respective affiliates.
Baseball Queensland plays a key role in strengthening our members and supporting capacity building, performance and recognition of member organisations, their affiliates and individuals. This is done through a range of competitions, events, activities and game and player development programmes.
Through its membership Baseball Queensland represents over 30 clubs and associations and approximately 5,000 players, participants, workers and volunteers.
Mission – To lead Queensland baseball in building connected, healthy and active communities within and through the sport of baseball.
Vision – To support clubs and regions in the promotion and growth of baseball in Queensland through coach and player development, capacity building of volunteers, and enhancement of club infrastructure. To develop our high-performance athletes so that they can maximise their opportunities in our sport and further strengthen our sport nationally and internationally.
Purpose – Baseball Queensland exists to support its Members and promote, strengthen and advocate for the sector so more people and communities in Queensland enjoy the significant benefits sport and active recreation provides.

Accountability and Core Outcomes
The Digital Media Manager is accountable to the Chief Executive Officer and will:
* Be responsible for the deployment of Baseball Queensland digital assets to achieve strategic outcomes aligned with organisational objectives;
* Contribute to advancing the interests of Baseball Queensland throughout the State;
* Plan and implement the organisation's digital marketing campaigns and strategies;
* Work in a member-based organisation and collaborate with volunteers and committees;
* Navigate complex issues by prioritising, managing and delivering outcomes that fulfil the priorities of Baseball Queensland;
* Liaise with the CEO to plan and prioritise tasks and workload.
Key Responsibilities
The Digital Media Manager will plan, implement and monitor our digital marketing campaigns across all digital networks with the aim to grow our brand's influence locally while also increasing brand loyalty and awareness.
* Design and oversee all aspects of our digital marketing resources including our marketing database, email and display advertising campaigns;
* Plan and manage our social media platforms;
* Prepare accurate reports on our marketing campaign's overall performance;
* Identify latest trends and technologies affecting our industry;
* Evaluate and respond to important metrics that affect our website traffic, service quota and target audience;
* Work with other BQ staff to create new and innovative growth and engagement strategies;
* Network well across the organisation and provide clear communication to colleagues in a timely fashion;
* Proofread all material for errors, omissions and consistency.
Skills and Experience
* Demonstrated experience in digital marketing or advertising;
* Detailed knowledge of various social media platforms, related best practices and website analytics;
* Highly creative with excellent analytical abilities;
* Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing;
* Demonstrated proficiency using WordPress and cPanel;
* Demonstrated proficiency using Adobe Creative Software (Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign).

Location
Baseball Queensland is located in Office 2.02 at Sportshouse, 150 Caxton St, Milton, Queensland 4064. The successful applicant will have the option to work remotely or from the office.
Hours of Work
As a guide, engaged as an employee for an average of 25 hours per week.
Remuneration Guide
Engaged as an employee at $49,400 per annum or $38/hr with leave entitlements as per the National Employment Standards.
