Workplace Health and Safety Expert
We are seeking a seasoned Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) expert to join our team as a Senior Manager. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and implementing strategies to drive proactive injury prevention, return-to-work plans, and risk management.
* Provide specialist advice on WHS performance, workers' compensation, injury management, and compliance with relevant legislation and standards.
* Develop and oversee the implementation of our WHS strategy, systems, and procedures.
* Maintain and enhance the WHS management system, guiding leaders on legislative responsibilities and ensuring continuous improvement.
* Drive the development of proactive injury prevention strategies, return-to-work plans, and risk management initiatives.
To be successful in this role, you will require a strong background in Work Health and Safety or a related field, together with specialist knowledge and experience with WHS legislation and standards. You should also possess excellent leadership skills and be able to effectively communicate your ideas to stakeholders.
