We are seeking a full-time Qualified Services Project Manager to join the Parchment International team, deploying Digitary applications to clients. The successful candidate will have a background in the education software industry, experience with project management, strong communication skills, and the willingness and ability to think creatively and flexibly.
This role combines business analysis skills with project management experience to ensure effective management of projects and people and to deliver an excellent customer experience, including ensuring onboarding and implementation goals are met in a timely manner.
With teams located in Australia, Ireland, the UK, and Canada, and a growing presence in the Japan market, Digitary by Parchment helps almost 200 Higher Education providers worldwide securely certify their academic qualifications online. Our technology secures the achievements of millions of students and graduates and our platform has been used in over 100 countries.
About The Role
- Ability to interact with a range of internal and external stakeholders, managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Assist in defining the project scope and objectives for client projects, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Coordinate with global teams and clients across multiple countries and timezones; support flexibility in working hours
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress while identifying and mitigating risks
- Track project performance, analyzing progress toward short- and long-term goals
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of projects
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget
- Create and maintain revenue forecasting by updating monthly milestone forecasting
- Report and escalate issues to management as needed
- Craft and coordinate communication plans to keep project participants updated
- Manage expectations with clients and internal resources
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients based on knowledge of client requirements and Instructure best practices
- Track time for all tasks against the applicable projects
- Excel in an environment with constant change
About You
- Preferred Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a related field
- 2+ years’ experience with project management in an enterprise software (preferably SaaS) environment
- Experience with formal project management methodologies
- Experience in higher education or K-12 settings preferred
- Strong communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation) for technical and non-technical audiences
- Attention to detail with proficiency in project management tools
- Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team
- Willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Contribute to internal continuous improvement by documenting and sharing client feedback
- Ability to operate in ambiguity and rapidly develop a plan with minimal direction
