The Marion Hotel is a family owned and operated hotel with a long history of providing excellent customer service in Adelaide.
We are seeking a full time Guest Service Agent to join our front office team. This is a unique position that combines front office and reservations as well as taking enquiries for other hotel services, events and functions.
The GSA is the go-to person in the hotel, not only for the guests, but also for the other staff in our large team. To be successful in this role, you must be highly motivated and a fast learner.
This is a full time position with a 38 hour roster. Shifts are a mix of mornings, afternoons and evenings across 7 days.
Job tasks and responsibilities
* Checking in and checking out accommodation guests
* Answer and direct incoming calls with a friendly phone manner
* Taking phone reservations with professionalism
* Counting tills and daily cashiering
* Assisting with guest enquiries and special requests
* Guiding guests by providing local knowledge
* Complaint handling and troubleshooting to ensure guest satisfaction
* Excellent organisational and team work skills
