Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) is looking for a Clinician to join our growing team on an temporary for 6 months (0.4EFT) and ongoing (0.2EFT) part-time basis.
YPARC provides short-term, 24/7 residential care in a safe, home-like environment. Delivered in partnership with Mind Australia, the service focuses on early intervention, recovery, and empowering young people and their families with the tools to manage mental health challenges.
About the Role
In this role, you will deliver high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care within a multidisciplinary team. You’ll work closely with consumers, families, and carers to support meaningful recovery outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting mental health, social and physical assessments
* Developing and implementing collaborative care plans
* Administering and monitoring medications
* Delivering therapeutic interventions, counselling and support
* Working closely with medical, allied health and lived experience staff
* Supporting a safe, inclusive and recovery-focused environment
* Contributing to staff supervision, education and service improvement

About you You are a compassionate and skilled clinician who thrives in a team-based environment and is committed to recovery-oriented practice.
You will bring:
* Registration as a Division 1 Nurse with a post-basic qualification in Mental Health Nursing and current registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
* Strong clinical assessment and therapeutic skills
* Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
* A commitment to trauma-informed and culturally sensitive care
* A current Victorian Driver’s Licence

Desirable:
* Experience working in mental health (2+ years preferred)
* Understanding of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014 and sector reforms
* Knowledge of AOD, developmental psychiatry, and recovery frameworks
