**Your new role**
Reporting to the Plant Manager, your new role will see you effectively manage all facets of maintenance management. You will ensure that maintenance is in line with the production needs of the company whilst ensuring that quality is not compromised. You will also actively contribute towards maintaining a high performing culture, and will proactively coach and develop your team of trades personnel thus ensuring they are equipped to perform at the highest of levels throughout this exciting phase of growth..
- Overseeing the maintenance management function by managing the maintenance staff and establishing priorities in maintenance schedules.
- Leading the site maintenance team in providing both a reactive and a proactive service on all operational equipment and facilities infrastructure.
- Undertaking total preventative maintenance, managing breakdowns of mechanical and electrical equipment.
- Maintaining manufacturing assets and facility, part inventory, monitoring purchase order, invoice approvals and manages the department budget.
**What you'll need to succeed***
- To succeed within this role you will be a high performing Maintenance Manager with strong FMCG Manufacturing and people management experience within fast paced, complex operational environments.
- You will be a passionate and energetic leader that has the capacity to remain calm and focused whilst working under pressure, and will be able to display strong time management skills, with an ability to meet deadlines within a time critical environment. Additionally, you will have a good understanding of quality management systems and will be passionate about driving a high performing, safety focused culture.
- Relevant manufacturing / engineering degree preferred. A trade qualification in a relevant discipline with a minimum of a restricted electrical license.
- Experience in PM and SM delivery. Extensive experience in pneumatics, hydraulics, PLC and have a restricted electrical license.
- Mechanical aptitude for fault finding.
- Computer literate.
