Job Description:
The role of Cook is a highly rewarding position in our fast-paced kitchen, where you will work closely with our team to prepare and serve delicious meals for our residents. Your passion for food, warm personality, and ability to connect with others make you an ideal candidate for this role.
This is a permanent full-time position requiring Monday 9:30am-6pm, Tuesday 9:30am-6:30pm, Friday 10am-6:30pm, and Saturday & Sunday 9:30am-6pm shifts. Enjoy penalty rates on Saturdays and Sundays.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and cook daily meal services, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and cooking ingredients.
* Monitor food safety plans and ensure the kitchen adheres to all health and safety standards.
* Manage the maintenance and cleanliness of kitchen equipment.
* Work collaboratively with fellow Food & Beverage or Cook/Chef staff to ensure smooth operations.
* Monitor inventory levels and ensure food supplies are well-stocked and rotated properly.

Requirements:
* Experience in a Cook, Chef, Kitchen Hand, or restaurant setting.
* A warm and friendly persona, with a passion for food and connecting with others.
* A current Police check (we can assist with this).
* Minimum of two COVID-19 vaccinations (required).
