We are currently seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Officer to join our team in WA.
Position Overview:
The HR Officer oversees HR administration and support across all business levels, ensuring effective implementation and operation of HR policies, procedures, and systems.
The incumbent is the first point of contact for all HR queries and undertakes HR activities from performance management to investigations, ensuring adherence to applicable regulations, processes, and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage the end-to-end administration and support aspects of the HR function from onboarding through to departure.
* Manage and maintain the Human Resources Information System (Employment Hero), including all Templates, Processes, Procedures, and Policies as the system owner.
* Provide basic legislative and contractual advice to Managers and employees on all HR matters, escalating to the HR Manager, where required.
* Assist with internal HR audit processes to ensure legislative and company requirements are met.
* Managing company document control and quality processes for HR records through SharePoint.
* Provide basic to intermediate advice on and support employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance management, ensuring employer obligations are met.
* Manage the administration of injury management and workers compensation case management including engagement with insurers.
* Assist and lead the development and delivery of training and development initiatives for all employees including the Learning Management System (LMS).
* Monitor and escalate any non-conformances related to HR processes, systems and suggest any process improvements.
Essential Criteria:
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Commerce or working towards (desirable)
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in an HR Administrator / Officer or Generalist role.
* Knowledge of Australian employment law including Modern Awards.
* Experience in injury management and workers compensation case management and supporting certification (certification desirable).
* Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, organisation and teamwork skills.
* Analytical skills to interpret information and regulations.
* Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, SharePoint and HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems).
