Job Description
AIPC is seeking an experienced Counsellor to work as a Facilitator and Assessor to teach and evaluate our students completing their Certification in Counselling
We are looking for an experienced Counsellor to join our team as a Seminar Facilitator and Assessor. In this role, you will be responsible for:
* Reviewing all content to be delivered and explained in a digestible format, including assessment tasks
* Ensuring that all required content is covered based on the Instructional Guidelines
* Delivering 1-2 day seminars for students that meet all learning and assessment requirements
* Conducting 2-3 hour private online assessments of students and assessing them on learning outcomes and regulatory requirements
* Delivering 4-hour online workshops to students, adhering to existing unit guides
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* A Diploma or bachelor's degree in Counselling, Community Service or a related field
* A current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
* Strong interpersonal communication skills
* Minimum 2 years of experience working as a counsellor
* Ability to develop and implement training programs
* Position available in Canberra
