About the Role: As a Personal Care Worker, you will deliver exceptional care to clients in their own homes. This role involves providing holistic support with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care and assist with daily activities in accordance with each client's tailored care plan.
* Collaborate with Registered Nurses to deliver client-specific care, including personal hygiene, toileting, nutrition, mobility, and more.
* Support clients with light housekeeping duties to promote independence, including laundry, cleaning, and meal preparation.
* Maintain accurate daily client notes and promptly report any concerns to the RN/Care Manager.
Requirements:
* Cert III in Aged Care/Disability (or equivalent).
* Current Senior First Aid (HLTAID011), CPR (HLTAID009) and Manual Handling (HLTWHS005).
* A roadworthy and insured vehicle with a current driver's licence.
* Federal Police Clearance within the last 6 months.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with empathy for elderly clients.
