From disability and aged care support to community-focused initiatives, we're here to help people live their best lives.Hours offered will be based on a 5-day fortnight or 3 days per week; Thursdays and Fridays are essential due to the service requirements.What you'll doAs a Clinical Nurse in our Clinical Supports Team, you'll:Support the Service Delivery Team and the organisation as a whole with guidance around clinical practices.Provide customer assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care in collaboration with individuals to improve health outcomes for customers.Participate in quality and continuous improvement activities.In collaboration with the National Manager Clinical Supports, identify and manage the follow up of clinical corrective actions.Support and liaise with customers, carers, colleagues, quality and service delivery teams, external agencies and the public and private sectors to provide coordinated multidisciplinary care.What you'll bringA minimum of 5 years' experience as a Registered Nurse in the Disability sector.Highly developed interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills reflected by problem solving, negotiation, conflict resolution and report writing.Sound knowledge of NDIS requirements and relevant legislationExperience and knowledge in using health management IT systemsCurrent AHPRA registration in the category of Registered Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia(You'll also need an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate – but don't worry, we'll help guide you through this.)
