A dedicated family in Melbourne’s central business district seeks a skilled and nurturing nanny to care for their 10-year-old daughter.
About the Position
* We are looking for an experienced individual with a strong background in caring for pre-teens/teenage girls (5+ years as a nanny or tutor preferred)
* The ideal candidate should be fun, engaging, and energetic while also being able to set boundaries kindly
* They must be encouraging, positive, and confident in supporting schoolwork and revision
* A reliable, organized, and proactive attitude is essential; the candidate should be a great role model for the child
* Ideal candidates would be in their mid to late 20s, but we are open to experienced applicants outside this age range
Daily Responsibilities
* School pick-up and drop-off to tennis and swimming activities
* Providing healthy snacks and occasional simple meals
* Supporting homework and revision, particularly in English and Maths
* Helping the child develop study habits, organizational skills, and a growth mindset
* Encouraging fun, creative play and engaging activities
* Supporting the child with her cello and guitar practice if they have relevant skills
* Maintaining the child's bedroom and study/play area in a tidy and organized state
