The Role:
We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Human Resources department.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting the School Principal and Business Manager with personnel and administrative matters
* Ensuring all Department of Education HR policies and legal requirements are met
* Providing successful applicants with HR documentation
* Assisting school staff with HR enquiries
* Updating leave details on EduPay and processing higher duties, special payments, allowances, and time fraction changes
* Investigating payroll over/underpayments and adjusting according to DE guidelines
* Processing staff earnings and deductions for payroll via EduPay
* Monitoring and ensuring WWCC and VIT registrations are up to date
The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for an individual who has experience in human resources management, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, and be able to provide guidance and support to staff members.
