Your Next Chapter Starts HereBRAMS is seeking a Podiatrist to join the team in Broome and deliver culturally safe, evidence-based podiatry services across Aged Care, NDIS, and Primary Health Care programs.This is a rare opportunity: very few Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisations employ full-time podiatrists, giving you the chance to shape and grow podiatry services in an environment where your expertise will genuinely make an impact.BRAMS welcomes both experienced podiatrists and recent graduates, offering the opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary clinical team that includes doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and Aboriginal Health Practitioners.
Key responsibilities include:Providing assessments, diagnosis, and treatment for foot, ankle, and lower limb conditions across the lifespanDelivering diabetic foot assessments, wound care, biomechanical assessments, and ongoing podiatric managementDeveloping culturally appropriate podiatry care plans tailored to individual needsContributing to Aged Care and NDIS assessments, documentation, and reportsSupporting preventive health programs and health literacy initiativesWorking collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support holistic careParticipating in quality improvement, service planning, and professional development
Is This You?The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Podiatry and current AHPRA registration (or be eligible to obtain registration before commencing).BRAMS welcomes both early-career and experienced ’ll demonstrate:The ability to deliver evidence-based podiatry services across diverse clinical presentationsStrong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skillsA commitment to culturally safe practice and working respectfully within Aboriginal communitiesConfidence working autonomously while contributing to a multidisciplinary teamGood clinical documentation, communication, and organisational skillsWillingness to participate in ongoing professional developmentExperience working in community health, NDIS, aged care, or an Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation is highly regarded but not essential.Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.
