The Melbourne Racing Club is seeking casual Membership Coordinators to support its team during key periods across the 2025/26 racing season.


Key Periods

We have opportunities available across three distinct timeframes:

* Caulfield Cup Carnival (October)
* Varying mid-week and weekend race days throughout the 2025/26 racing season

This role plays a key part in our membership operations, based at Caulfield Racecourse and reporting to the Membership Manager. Responsibilities include customer service, ticketing, and membership support.


Responsibilities

As a Membership Coordinator, you will:

* Act as the first point of contact for members, providing a high level of customer service and answering all enquiries in a friendly and accurate manner.
* Process renewals and new membership applications via phone, mail, and in-person.
* Maintain accuracy and integrity of data entry into the membership database.
* Build strong and effective relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
* Ensure effective lines of communication are provided to all departments in strong support of membership experience and customer service.
* Provide support to members on race days at Caulfield as required.
* Collaborate within the Membership team on ad-hoc administrative duties.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

* Previous experience in the delivery of quality customer service.
* Demonstrable experience in customer service roles within the sports, events, or hospitality sectors (desirable).
* Ability to meet and manage strict guidelines and deadlines.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work well individually and as part of a team.
* Outstanding attention to detail.
* Effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
