Economic Development and Aboriginal Empowerment Senior Leadership Role
About the Role
We are seeking a senior professional to support the Director in delivering economic outcomes for Aboriginal people and businesses in NSW.
The role involves working closely with all relevant stakeholders to embed an Aboriginal lens in our work programs, ensuring inclusion in all priorities for regional NSW.
This is an opportunity for a skilled and experienced leader to make a significant contribution to promoting Aboriginal empowerment and economic self-determination.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing expert advice and guidance to senior leaders
* Advising on effective strategies to engage Aboriginal businesses and organisations
* Designing innovative approaches to improve economic outcomes for Aboriginal people
* Leading teams to identify, develop and deliver initiatives supporting Aboriginal business growth
* Promoting new strength-based approaches to Aboriginal empowerment
Requirements
* Of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent
* Experience in leading teams and promoting Aboriginal empowerment
* Strong ability to build partnerships with regional stakeholders and government agencies
