We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter to join a well-established and growing food manufacturing facility based in Tullamarine. This is a permanent, full-time role offering strong hourly rates, consistent work, and plenty of overtime.
The Role
You will be responsible for mechanical maintenance across the site, including:
* Preventative and reactive maintenance on plant and machinery
* Breakdown repairs to minimise downtime
* Mechanical fault finding and troubleshooting
* Supporting production teams to keep operations running efficiently
* Planned maintenance and continuous improvement activities
* Ensuring all work is completed safely and to site standards
What You'll Need
* Trade qualification as a Maintenance Fitter / Mechanical Fitter
* Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
* Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
* Ability to work independently and within a team
* Reliable, proactive attitude and good communication skills
