Why this role matters
As a Manager in our Restructuring & Recovery team, you play a pivotal role in helping clients navigate some of their most complex financial challenges. Your expertise shapes the quality of our insolvency analyses, the accuracy of our reports, and the confidence clients place in our advice.
Beyond the technical, you make a real impact on our people and our firm. You'll mentor team members, champion best practice, and drive continuous improvement across systems, processes and service delivery. Your ability to build strong relationships (both internally and with clients) helps strengthen our reputation as trusted, commercially minded advisors.
What you'll do
1. Conducting high-level various insolvency analyses in order to analyse a company's situation
2. Prepare detailed, accurate reports and written communications for clients and senior stakeholders.
3. Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance, coaching and technical training.
4. Liaise with director and managers and other business unit leaders, where appropriate, in relation to complex technical issues
What you'll bring
5. Tertiary qualifications in Business or Commerce (Accounting major) plus completion or progress toward CA/CPA/IPA.
6. Proven Australian experience in a similar role within an insolvency environment
7. Deep understanding of relevant legislation, regulatory requirements and insolvency processes.
8. Strong ability to interpret, analyse and communicate financial information with accuracy and insight.
9. Confidence in using accounting and insolvency software (e.g., INSOL, MYOB, APS).
