Ready to be the welcoming face of Learning and Development? Join our dynamic team at the Maryborough District Health Service (MDHS) as an Administration Assistant in our Learning, Education and Development (LEAD) centre
This exciting administration position sits at the heart of our bustling learning, education and development centre within the Maryborough Campus. You'll be the vital link ensuring our staff, students, clients and graduate nurses receive exceptional service every time they walk through our doors. As our Administration Assistant - LEAD, you'll be the superhero behind the scenes, making everything run smoothly while supporting the incredible work happening in our education setting. Your attention to detail and friendly approach will ensure that every interaction with LEAD is positive and professional.
What You'll Be Doing:
Be the first point of contact - greeting and assisting all LEAD clients and visitors with professionalism and a warm smile
Handle telephone calls with confidence and efficiency
Deliver outstanding clerical and administrative support to keep LEAD running like clockwork
Create and establish new student files and placement support documentation with precision
Process and maintain correspondence and financial records for Education program bookings and purchase requisitions
Ensure all booking processes are accurate, timely, and follow established office procedures
Participate and play an active role in emergency management procedures
Process orders for goods and services through the supply department in accordance with MDHS policy
Support the Operations Manager of Organisational Development with various general duties as needed

Take ownership of your work and maintain accountability within your scope of practice
