Our Genetic Scientists play an important part in coordinating and providing high quality services within our laboratory. In addition, this position plays a critical role in assisting the Genetics laboratory by providing technical and administrative support. This position may be required to work a rotational weekend roster and public holidays. The successful candidate will join a high performing, collaborative and compassionate team who continuously provide exceptional service to our patients to directly enhance the patients' experience. In this role you will be accountable for: Performing laboratory techniques to a very high quality Supporting a multidisciplinary team Interacting with patients and other medical professionals Providing results to clinicians and patients Trouble-shooting machine operational issues Following established protocols – full compliance with accreditation, protocols and lab procedures Ordering and maintaining stock, equipment, and consumables Are you the ideal candidate?’ Understanding there are ups and down in reproductive health, our Genetic Scientists will have a genuine interest in fertility solutions. They must also be sensitive to the needs of patients and display exceptional communication skills.
