Government Lawyer Role
As a Government Lawyer, you will play a key role in providing merits review services for a Commonwealth Government agency.
* You will be responsible for drafting summaries of evidence and statements of issues, as well as assisting and attending case conferences and hearings.
* Additionally, you will conduct directions hearings and draft litigation strategies, including complex statutory interpretation.
To be successful in this role, you will have approximately 1-3 years post-qualification experience, preferably with a background in government advisory work.
You will also possess strong drafting skills, excellent communication skills, and a collegiate approach.
