We are seeking a skilled and proactive HR Professional with particular expertise in Performance Management to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in driving organisational success by ensuring that performance management processes are effective, streamlined, and aligned with company goals.
You will collaborate closely with senior leadership, managers, team leaders and employees to foster and support a culture of continuous improvement, engagement, and development.
Health Select Services is the provider of Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services across Victoria. Proudly Australian-owned and operated, Health Select employs healthcare professionals in roles such as Patient Transport Officers, Ambulance Transport Attendants, and Registered Nurses across multiple branches throughout Victoria. Our head office is located in Vermont, Victoria. We are currently seeking an experienced Performance Management Specialist to join our driven and dedicated management team. This role will play a key part in maintaining our commitment to delivering high-quality patient care, with a strong focus on our core values of Innovation, Compassion, Excellence, Integrity, and Loyalty.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the full performance management cycle, including setting performance expectations, delivering feedback, and conducting evaluations.
* Design and implement performance appraisal and development systems and processes that are fair, transparent, and support employee growth.
* Develop leaders, managers and employees so that they are equipped and engaged to pro-actively and effectively participate in our performance management cycle and processes.
* Collaborate with department heads and managers to develop performance improvement plans and coaching strategies for underperforming employees.
* Analyse performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improving overall workforce performance.
* Provide expert advice and guidance to leadership on performance management best practices and legal considerations.
* Assist in creating learning and development opportunities for employees to enhance their skills and achieve their professional goals.
* Monitor and evaluate employee engagement and satisfaction as it relates to performance management processes.
* Handle sensitive performance-related issues and resolve conflicts in a fair and professional manner.
* Coordinate action to effectively respond to any external processes or initiatives that emerge related to performance management.
Key Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
* Proven experience in performance management, talent development, or HR consulting (minimum 5 years of experience).
* Strong knowledge of HR systems, performance management software, and evaluation tools.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
* Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
* Strong understanding ofemployment laws and compliance related to employee performance.
* Certification in HR or related fields is preferred
