About the opportunity We are seeking a senior, strategic leadership role responsible for leading an independent, objective and risk-based Internal Audit function that enhances and protects organisational value. Reporting to the Chair of the Risk and Audit Committee, with a dotted line to the General Counsel and Company Secretary, you will provide assurance, insight and advice to the Board, Executive and Management in line with the Internal Audit Charter and professional standards.In this role, you will:Lead the end to end delivery of the Internal Audit function, ensuring independence, quality and value add outcomesDevelop and deliver the Annual Internal Audit Plan in collaboration with the co sourced internal audit providerDeliver a number of audits within the Internal Audit Plan, supported by the Risk and Assurance AdvisorProvide high quality reporting to Management and the Risk and Audit CommitteeMaintain oversight of audit findings and management actionsManage internal audit resources and co sourced arrangementsWork collaboratively with Executives and business leaders to enhance the effectiveness of controls, disciplines and organisational capabilitiesPartner closely with the Head of Risk to strengthen the combined risk and control framework and provide collective strategic insightAbout you You are an experienced internal audit professional with strong professional integrity, sound judgement and the ability to engage confidently with Boards, Executives and senior stakeholders.
