Position: Desktop Troubleshooting Technician. (Students Welcome to Apply)
Work Mode: Part Time and Work from Home/Client Site. Locations available: Wollongong (involves traveling to customers).
Pay: $30-$40 per hour on ABN + travel reimbursements + commissions on upsell.

About The Role
Provide in office IT support to home and business users for issues including emails, internet setup, printers, Windows and Mac troubleshooting, data recovery, software and hardware troubleshooting, etc.
Role may require traveling to different suburbs.
Essential Requirements
Minimum 1 year of demonstrated experience in desktop troubleshooting (Australia or overseas).
Technical knowledge of diagnosing problems and issues such as installation, maintenance, repair, upgrade, configuration and troubleshooting of desktops, software, hardware, printers, internet, email and operating systems.
Customer-facing experience is an added advantage.
Very robust verbal communication skills.
Must have own vehicle and a valid Australian driving licence for travel to customers.
Self-motivated with a proactive, go-getter attitude.
Willingness to earn commissions on upselling support packages to existing customers.
Based in Wollongong with work rights (candidates outside Australia will not be considered).
Important Things To Know Before You Apply
This is a part-time role to begin with and may convert to a permanent full-time role later.
Hours are not guaranteed; part-time technicians typically have around 20-25 hours per week depending on location.
On-demand support role with travel within at least a 30 km radius from base location. More radius may yield more work.
Option to work on weekends for additional income.
Students from Computer and IT backgrounds can apply.
Must have your own vehicle due to travel requirements.
