* Receiving parts and safely storing them in designated areas.
* Maintaining accurate stock records through physical cycle counts.
* Loading, unloading, and transporting parts between different sites.
* Picking and delivering parts to hardware technicians as needed.
Key Responsibilities
The role of a logistics specialist involves ensuring seamless operations within our data centers. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining inventory levels to support build and repair activities.
* Coordinating with Data Center Operations and Engineering teams to ensure reliable functioning and repair activities.
* Implementing Amazon 7S principles to maintain safe, organized, and clean workspaces.
Physical Demands
The position requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including:
* Loading and unloading shipments.
* Standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods.
* Pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, and kneeling frequently.
* Reaching and stretching to position equipment and fixtures while maintaining balance.
Basic Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent.
* VIC driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
* Forklift license.
* Proficient in computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
